When asked about gifts, she said it plainly, “Your presence is my present.” Just being together on Orcas Island is more than enough for her.

Standing Tall Igniting Hope is a Community of the Heart that inspires, supports and provides services for those living with mental health challenges.
Born from the tragic loss of her grandson Eric who struggled for many years of living with the disabling disease of schizoaffective disorder, Colleen founded Standing Tall with the belief that every person carries more strength, more light, and more possibility than any circumstance can dim.
Every gift, in any amount, helps to provide treatment scholarships for those living with mental health challenges who do not have access to mental health coverage. The resources and support provided is changing lives and keeps hope burning bright.
